About Rana Burr

My name is Rana Burr, and my husband and I have been married 15 wonderful years. We have four beautiful children and one very fun border collie. I appreciate you stopping by my personal website to read my bio and learn more about how I might be able to help you.

People who know me, know that I am a very easy going, fun-loving person with integrity. I tell it like it is, get to the point, and give people tons of beneficial information. Making money becomes almost effortless once you understand leverage and marketing, and I’ll share with you what I know works.

I’m excited to jump out of bed each day and enjoy helping others in any way I can. You see, my home-based business is paying for a cutting edge program for my special needs son, a program so new that it is not covered by insurance or paid for by the school district yet. Most families struggle to pay for it every month, but thanks to my business, I just write a check.

Over the past few years of marketing online, I’ve found that replicated websites and emails really don’t validate trust or relationship building when it comes to getting involved in business opportunities.

There are so many scams and sites that will take your money and rip you off. I once watched a website that promised big returns in 90 days on any size investment (the highest was about $2000). Before 90 days had passed, the website had disappeared, along with millions of dollars belonging to thousands of get-rich hopefuls.

I was born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. My twin sister and I bounced back and forth between parents through our formative years. It was not until my mother remarried that we experienced real stability. I later learned that my early experiences were also laying the foundation for my financial blueprint–and not necessarily for the better.

After graduating at the top of our class from Evans Highschool, in Augusta, Georgia, both of us went to college. Rebecca, my twin sister, chose a career in academia. My passion and goal in life was to become a music therapist. I did very well in school, learned to perform on both the flute and guitar, and eventually graduated summa cum laude from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science in music therapy. And better yet, I found a fiancé and my first border collie. It was a dream come true.

After my internship at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, I got married. We had no sooner begun our new lives together when my I found out that I was expecting my first child.  Needless to say, things had to change very quickly from that day forward.

My job was the first thing to go when my son was born.  I was still able to practice music therapy on the side, which I enjoyed immensely, but we took a huge cut in pay.  So of course, I started looking for ways to make money from home.

Like many others before me, my first few ventures were as a network marketer.  This model intrigued me, as it has been extremely lucrative for many people.  The only problem was, I was young and no one took me seriously.  Beside that, I knew there had to be a better way to build a business than ambushing people on the phone.

So I started learning as much as I could about the internet.  Web design, search engine optimization, WordPress, social media, and even pay-per-click advertising.  I spent thousands of dollars getting a cutting edge self-guided education at what I feel is at least the level of a master’s degree, if not higher.  Not only did I take course after course, I learned from other marketers who made expensive mistakes so that I could avoid them myself.

At the same time, I continued doing what I love best–spending time with my family.  I found that I really could have the best of both worlds.  And I couldn’t be happier.

Let me leave you with a few thoughts from two of my favorite mentors:
